Success! Somewhat...

I have finally published my website. It is not perfect and needs some additional tweaking, but it is published. I had my first site visitor, well, ok, it was my son and, yes, I asked him to visit.

What I have learned is that some people move at lightning speed and set up sites and have visitors in a matter of days. I take a little longer and move slowly, but the important thing is that I keep moving.

What am I working on? Currently I am two-thirds through quilting a piece that is halfway between a pieced quilt and an art quilt. It is a fall-ish composition with leaves and fall colors (my favorite colors).

The quilt will be approximately 68 x 86 inches. It is custom quilted with piano keys in the dark green, meander and stones in the other sections with custom outlining of the leaves, tree branches, bird, and seed pods. All quilting is free-hand. I hope to take this quilt with me to the Paine Art Museum Spring Festival on May 21.
